Mini Release, Monthly Meetup Winner & A Special Offer

Well, hi there and how are you today??

I'm here to announce the winner of March's Monthly Meetup Challenge!

Also, drumroll........I've selected an additional winner to receive our new Mini Canvas Die and Mini Easel - a prize package of almost $25!! YahoooooooOoooo!!! AND we have a limited time offer on these products. More information is at the end of this post.

Ok, hold onto your seats, coffee etc..... :) I have an even bigger announcement today!!

We've decided to do a small mini release or interim release, if you will, TODAY!

We were going to save these goodies for our next full release on April 20th, but I KNOW you want them now so I thought I'd JUST DO IT!!!!

Today we are releasing THREE ITEMS!!!  Dual Stitched Rectangles, Dual Stitched Squares, and a set of premium Wire Cutting Pliers!!

Ok, yes. Admittedly, it's taken us a while to release these popular shapes with our exclusive Dual Stitching Design and that's for a couple of different reasons but I promise you these are worth the wait!! Here's why....

Our Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles give you THREE THINGS that you've been asking for for quite some time:

  • An A2 card base sized stitched rectangle die
  • Additional sizes of the Stitched Rectangles you love so much :)
  • AND a set of Dual Stitched Rectangles

This set has it ALL!!!! The largest die in this set cuts a stitched rectangle which is the perfect fit for your card bases and it's something that has not been featured in any of our rectangle die sets UNTIL NOW!

The remaining three dies in this set feature our exclusive Dual Stitching on the inside and outside of the cut line which can be used in so many fun and creative ways!

What is Dual Stitching you ask? It is a concept in die cutting first introduced to our paper crafting community by Lil' Inker Designs in 2013. Perforated stitching lines are included on the inside and outside of the main cut line leaving you, in this case, with perfectly stitched rectangles as well as a negative cut also with stitching around it as well! It's really like getting two die sets in one!

There are 4 sizes of dies in this set which come nested on a magnetic sheet for handy storage. Sizes are as follows:

Largest die cuts an exact A2 stitched rectangle at 4.25" x 5.50" (this die does not feature dual stitching and cuts a stitched rectangle only)

Three additional, Dual Stitched Rectangles die sizes are:
 3 7/16" x 4 5/8", 2 1/2" x 3 5/8", 1 1/2" x 2 13/16"

This is an amazing addition to your collection of Stitched Mats even if you already have our original Stitched Mats: Rectangles. We've brought you additional sizes of stitched rectangles, the A2, card base stitched rectangle you've been asking for AND three sizes of rectangles with Dual Stitching all in one handy set!

How excited are you right now???

Here's a project I made using them :)

Ok, next up is our new Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares!

This set of dies features THREE THINGS that you've been asking for:

  • MORE Stitched Squares in additional sizes.
  • A die that cuts a stitched stitched square (instead of just cutting a stitched border) and in a more cardbase-friendly size
  • AND a set of Dual Stitched Squares!
We've done it all with our Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Squares!! The largest die in this set cuts a stitched square 4.25" x 4.25 which is a very card-friendly size and is a die that we've not yet featured in any of our die sets.
The remaining three dies in this set feature our exclusive Dual Stitching on the inside and outside of the cut line which can be used in so many fun and creative ways!

There are 4 sizes of dies in this set which come nested on a magnetic sheet for handy storage. Sizes are as follows:
Largest die cuts a stitched square exactly 4.25" x 4.25" (this die does not feature dual stitching and cuts a stitched square only)
Three additional, Dual Stitched Squares die sizes are: 3 7/16", 2 1/2", 1 9/16"

This is an amazing addition to your collection of Stitched Mats even if you already have our original Stitched Mats: Squares. We've brought you additional sizes of stitched squares, the card-friendly 4.25" stitched square you've been asking for AND three sizes of squares with Dual Stitching all in one handy set!

Here's a project I made with them :)

It was of utmost importance to design follow up Stitched Mats Die Sets that gave you MORE and could be seen as a compliment to and a welcomed addition to the Stitched Mats Die Sets you already have and NOT make those sets obsolete in any way! We have done that!! And if you've waited to purchase these Dual Stitched sets from Lil' Inker Designs, we thank you!!

Ok, one more thing that is not quite as exciting but super handy nonetheless! We've stocked a limited quantity of wire cutting pliers in our store.

They are the most perfect tool for snipping dies apart. It makes breaking apart dies a TOTAL BREEZE! They're a premium quality and very durable and feature a comfort grip handle. They're smaller 4.5" size makes them easy to maneuver in small spaces too! If you don't already own a pair of wire cutting pliers to snip your dies apart I HIGHLY recommend you make this small investment. It's a total time saver AND there will be no more bending and wiggling to separate dies by hand! YAY!

Ok, so :) if you're still here, YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

This month's winner of our Monthly Meetup Challenge and a $50 store credit to Lil' Inker Designs is.......................... ( number generated by Random.org)

Winners will be announced in a new blog post shortly after March 18th.

Have fun getting crafty and we can't wait to see what you're working on!

I have some projects to share with you today. It's been a long a dreary Winter here in Massachusetts with just about 8 feet of snow in just about 4 weeks so I was really feeling the need for Spring in my crafting.
I started with a white card base and I used my Long & Skinny Rectangles to add stripes of this fabulous paper from American Crafts to the whole front. Then I cut a white oval using Stitched Mats: Ovals and added my bunny and scene and at first I was going to add this directly to my card front and then I realized it would be a whole lot cooler to cut out an oval from the center, frame the opening and add my focal panel to the inside of the card peeking through - so that's what I did!!

I nested two Stitched Mats: Ovals together before cutting and that's what has created this neat frame!

Other dies used with this project were Bunnies & Bows Die Set, Border Builders Die Set and Small Sunshine Die.

Once I finished the card project I had this fabulous striped oval that really looked like a decorated egg and I couldn't just toss it away so I made it a tag on this wrapped gift! This is just an oval from our Stitched Mats: Ovals but I think the stripe across the bottom makes it look like an egg shape so I went with it! I punched a hole and tied it to my gift but not before I added "Mom" to my tag using our Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set. The paper pad and pencils were found at the brand new Target that just opened 5 mins from my house - YAHOOOOOO!!!!! Both were found in the dollar bins!!

Here's a better close up for you. I love that I was able to create two projects essentially by just making one!

Ok, now it's your turn!!!  You can visit the Design Team and see their inspiration for this challenge by clicking on their cards as they appear in the linky below.

Have fun. Get crafty and LINK UP to be in on the PRIZE!!!!

Thanks for visiting today!

March New Release Hop Day 3

Hi there! Fancy meeting you here! Welcome back for day three of our New Release Hop! I'm excited to recap the products that are new to our store this week and to show you a few more projects I made with our new goodies.

Before I do, I wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your positive feedback and comments! They mean so much to all of us here! Thank you so much!!!

Here is everything that we've just released in our store this week!

Make custom works of art with our new Mini Canvas Die, Mini Easels for display and our beautiful Paint Your Canvas Stamps.

Here are the projects I previously showed you using these new goodies. Can I just say......these goodies are SO FUN to work with. I am LOVING making little works of art - other than cards of course.

Here are our new Triangle Treat Holder Die with Bunny Treats Dies & Accessories. Stay tuned because we'll be releasing more accessories to dress up this treat holder!

Here are the projects I had fun making using these FANTASTIC but oh so easy to assemble treat holder dies.

And just in case you missed it, here is a video tutorial I made for you showing you how to make a bunny treat holder.

Also this week we released our new Hey, Foxy suite of goodies; dies, word dies and stamps! I love love love the sweet little foxes you can make with this easy to use die set! What I like even more about these products is how you can just about customize your fox. With just the tilt of his head or the placement of his stamped eyes and nose you can make so many different looking foxes. Even our tail can be oriented in two different ways. Either way, you are going to LOVE playing with these dies. And once again stay tuned. We made the fox's body one that can be used for all kinds of animals and we have plans to build on this set SOON! YAY!!

Here are a couple of projects that I quite literally had a blast making!!!!

I really like the way this turned out. Let me tell you a little about it. I made a card front and die cut an opening for our fox focal image using our Stitched Mats: Circles and adhered this over white paper which I stamped the word foxy on repeatedly. I added the remained of my sentiment seen here using the hey word die and a sentiment from the stamp set which I really love. Everything was added on a die cut from our Pinking Edge Sentiment Flags Die Set. My fox was assembled using coral paper and white paper. So I die cut the base head and tail tip in white and the rest in coral and assembled everything. Then I easily stamped on eyes and nose to finish. CUTE right!!!!?? I love this!!!!!

I was playing some more with our Hey Foxy goodies. I made my fox the exact same way but used blush paper this time and changed the way I swished the tail and added in a few rhinestones. Then I made this scenic panel which I really like. The base or frame was made using Anytime Tags and then I used the following dies to create the scene: Border Builders Die Set for the hills, Sunshine Die Large and Cloudy Sky Die. Hard to see but I stamped the word hello from the Hey, Foxy Stamp Set onto my stone card base.

These are our brand new Wonky Squares Dies and they are a-flying out of here! They make a perfect sentiment panel or backdrop for a focal image and if you turn them on their side they can be used as diamonds. I just love them and I think you will too and for a limited time when you place a qualifying order of $75 or more through today March 4th (EST) you will receive 25% off this die set when you use the code LIDDEAL.

Here is a project I made using these new dies:

Also used here are our Seriously Awesome Stamps and Hello, Awesome Stamps. I love how these two can work together and I LOVE the font - it stamps so nicely!

You need to try to our new Really Rosemaling Stamp Set to see how beautifully it stamps. The possibilities are limitless here. You can make large ornate patterns or small ones and the sentiments are the art just flow so well together. This is gorgeous and I think you'll love it!
I mentioned previously that Rosemaling is a form of folk art which originated in Norway and was infused into the Disney movie Frozen -which I've only seen once, but loved. :)
I think you'll be seeing a lot more of this pattern and art in home decor and fashion and I'm excited to bring it to you so you can bring this art into your paper crafting!

Here are the projects I made using Really Rosemaling Stamps.

Here I kept my stamping simple stamping 4 separate pieces plus the sentiment onto the large sentiment flag in our Flags & Tags Die Set. The border on the yellow card base was made with our recently released Stitched Mats: Side-Stitched Rectangles which I love love love!

Here I did a little more stamping than on the first and I have to say it was pretty therapeutic to just stamp for a little while. I accented my focal image by using my Stitched Scallop Border Die beneath the focal panel.

Last but definitely NOT least is our brand new Cover Up Die: Pointelle. This die simply ROCKS The dotted pattern you see in the design cuts out or away from your card base and it it just gorgeous!!!!! I want to use it for everything! There are a lot of cuts and the pattern has a presence but for some reason it does NOT overpower whatever else you put it with. It just seems to go with everything!

Here is a project I made using our new Cover Up Die: Pointelle

This might be my favorite card that I made for this release. I don't know if it's the colors or what but I love it! :) Don't you love it when you love something you make? Ha!!! Here I also used our Spring Flowers Die Set and the sentiment is from our new Really Rosemaling Stamp Set.

What do you think?? What are some of the goodies on your wish list??

Ok, I'm sending you on your way with the daily reminder to leave some love for our designers along your way if you'd like to be entered to win one of 3 $15 gift certificates to Lil' Inker that we'll be giving away. Leave you comments by Sunday night March 8th, 11:30 PM EST to be eligible. Thanks!!!

Don't forget, if you'd like more information about the new products in our store this week you can always head right to our homepage HERE.

Thank you so very much for spending some of your day with us today! We'll be working our little socks off over here to get your orders out to you lickety split for the next few days.

You still have through tonight EST to take advantage of the reduced price on the Wonky Squares Dies. Also, we will be returning March 11th for our next Monthly MeetUp Challenge and I'm just about positive that we'll be back in April with more new goodies for you. Lots to stay tuned for especially one item in particular which will be part of our new release. It's something that you've been asking if we're going to release and we're finally ready to bring it to you!!

Thanks again and we'll see you SOON!!!! You are the BEST!
